Returns & Refunds Policy – Zaya

At Zaya, we’re building a respectful and reliable community for rewearing South Asian outfits and jewellery. As a second-hand marketplace, our return and refund policy is designed to protect both buyers and sellers, while acknowledging the unique nature of preloved fashion.

👗 For Buyers: We want you to shop with confidence — but please keep in mind that most items are second-hand and may show minor signs of wear.

✅ You’re eligible for a refund if:

  • The item does not arrive (we require all packages to be sent tracked so we can confirm shipping).
  • The item is significantly not as described, such as:
  • Wrong item sent
  • Major flaws not mentioned in the listing
  • Item is a completely different than advertised

🚫 We do not offer refunds if:

The item doesn’t fit

  • There are minor faults, light wear, or small imperfections — this is expected with second-hand items
  • You change your mind after purchasing
  • If your item hasn't arrived by the estimated delivery date, please email us as soon as possible. If too much time passes, we may be unable to take further action.

👜 For Sellers: To protect both yourself and your buyer, please:

  • Always send items via tracked delivery and keep proof of postage
  • Be honest and detailed in your listings — include accurate descriptions, measurements, and photos of any flaws
  • Respond promptly to any buyer messages or disputes
  • If a dispute is raised due to non-delivery or an item being very different than described, you may be required to provide evidence or issue a refund.
